    Great Stay Good Location

Since our stay last year, noticed a difference with the front entrance and check-in area. They have since closed up the roundabout entrance where cars used to be able to park at the front door to unload, etc. Instead, they are offering a few 5-minute and 15-minute parking options, otherwise, you just park your car. The bonus of this is that they have used this extra space to create a dedicated space for check-in (whereas the check-in desks used to be part of the grand living room that made for SUPER crowded times when there are things happening there). Perhaps it was because we also arrived later than usual (4 pm instead of our usual earlier time), there was only one person ahead of us and check-in was quick and easy. Another new thing to note is that they are now offering MOBILE CHECK-IN. I only saw the email that was sent notifying us the day of after we had checked in, but FYI for those planning to visit. You can complete a mobile check-in and there's a separate line-up for that. At check-in, you get your wristbands that are also your room keys and attached to your credit card for room charging -his way you can walk around the resort without having to remember to bring your wallet/purse, etc. If you booked meal plans, cabanas, paw passes, you will get those as well. I wrinkled my nose when I saw that our room assignment was downstairs (the lobby is essentially the second floor, I guess) at waterpark level. I did briefly consider asking for a new room, but actually ended up being very happy with our location. Room 1010 is waterpark level, but at the farthest end of the right wing. It was great because we didn't hear any of the waterpark or lobby activity noise and not a lot of traffic walking by since we were near the end. The other bonus of being on the lower level is that we were able to pull the car right up to our sliding glass door and unload our bags and then park the vehicle close by. We got the Wolf Den for the kiddo.
