Receptionist on arrival was excellent.Our room which was in the Cottage annexe was ok but the toilet was very disappointing.It was obviously meant to be a wet room but unfortunately it was well named.Only a shower curtain separated the shower from the toilet pan.Everything got soaked.I have seen better bathroom facilities in a caravan/ mobile home.If you had to use the toilet after someone has had a shower you had to do so in your bare feet due to water everywhere.Second time I have stayed here and both times rooms have been disappointing.I paid more for a room with a river view and both times the rooms have been disappointing.Maybe next time I will go for a standard room as obviously paying extra for a better room does not work.Food in Nicky Tams was good and not too expensive.Breakfast was ok but not a great deal of room to run a buffet breakfast in the limited space.Waiters and Waitresses not very helpful with no information what was on offer or where to sit etc.
