Hgh End Hotel
This is a helpful and awesome hotel alternative in Shinjuku. The staff seem understand English well and were exceptionally proficient and supportive. The rooms were well prepared with great views of the city. The area was was ideal, within walking distance of sights just like the Robot restaurant and Golden Gai. There was a parcel of activity on the roads, with tourists, families and all sorts of people roaming around Rooftop offers a stunning view of Shinjuku, especially at sunset. The location is very quiet.

Awesome
Buffet breakfast was OK. The lavatories were truly decent within the room; awesome tub! The room was a good size for Japan. You'll be able go see the see from the housetop bar without a issue but there's no range to truly hang out up there unless you're situated for benefit. There were bounty of places to eat close by. The FREE to use Sharp smart phone supplied in the room was literally a life saver. Good value for money for those who want to be close to everything. Our stay here was enjoyable.

Very Great!
It was very great. Room was very present day and clean. Staff was neighborly and area helpful, since it's a strolling separate to the JR station/restaurants/nightlife. The room was nice. And the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Good pressure. The breakfast was superb. I really enjoy my stay! Thank you. I highly recommended this place to my friends and family. Thank you so much! See you soon!

unfriendly, disappointed, giggling and chatting by another launguage, NO WIFI
First of all, there was no internet for whole my stay as 5 days. I asked receptionist that there is no internet in my room and they replyed yes there is no internet and giggling with their receptionist within japanese in front of me. they didnt make any solution and acted like out of their mind. Secondly, i gave the shopping bag after I checked out my room to give my another roommate however they forgot to give one of the thing which I gave all together. lastly, the location is surrounding by LOVE HOTEL (motel) and very dangerous to walking around at night. This is my first writing about reputation in my life, I am very very disappointed. I would neverever going this hotel.

Thank You!
My travel mates and I enjoyed our stay at the Granbell hotel very much. The rooms and amenities were modern. The location is central to the downtown shops, eateries, and other attractions. And the location is less than 1 mile from Shinjuku train and rail station. Very pleased with the property and all it has to offer. The room sizes were typical of Asian hotel standards. Toiletries were complimentary: slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbrush, and other daily necessities. They also offer loaner pajamas. You could almost travel without luggage there.

Comfortable Space
The hotel is actually really quite good! Like many other reviews have mentioned it is located smack bang in the middle of all the night life activities such as bars, food, host clubs and arcade gaming. The amenities in the room are good; including daily bottle of water and replacement of towels/bedding/bathroom consumables. The room size are typical for Tokyo and we had to be quite creative with navigating around our luggages inside the room. There are Family Mart stores nearby if you want to get yogurt or other items. The room was smaller than any hotel I've been in before but big enough for me to be comfortable. The bed was a little firm and the pillows were kinda flat.

Superb
Comfortable room in a good location around a 15 minute walk from Shinjuku station. Lots of restaurants in the area. Beer vending machines on site and the breakfast is excellent. The room was a little small but it was fine for a stay of 4 nights for a couple.

Good
The Bed was very comfy and the room is well equipped with more than enough power points for us to charge our gadgets. Although the room is small only 15 square meters, we didn't feel claustrophobic at all. It will be nicer if there were more staff available to ask for directions & other questions.

Great Place
This is a large hotel situated on the outskirts of Shinjuku's nightlife area. Having said that, it is pretty quiet and there are great views from the rooftop bar. Our room was tiny. I mean really small. But it is Tokyo and that's what you have to deal with. The room was very clean and the service was great. Breakfast was okay. Nothing brilliant but it filled the spot before we got out and about. If it is included then take it, if you have to pay extra, then head out of the hotel and explore better options outside. As for the location, it is a fair walk from Shinjuku station. A long way to drag the bags. The best option is to change trains and get off at Higashi-Shinjuku Station. From there it is a very easy walk. If you use this station, the hotel is a great place from which to explore Tokyo. There are lots and lots of restaurants within a very easy walk of the hotel. Happy to recommend this hotel.
