The hotel is quite new and modern. Our room was compact in a corner location but we managed to get upgraded to another room (which happened to be larger) after complaining about a group of noisy travellers next door. All Hotel staff were very friendly and on the ball having us shifted within 30 mins of the complaint. The location was good for access to local food markets like Peoples Plaza where many locals eat and with Chinatown MRT very close by. Clarke Quay is also about a10 mins. walk away too. Breakfast was included with our booking but is quite basic for this standard of hotel and could do with a serious review by management. Another slight drawback is there is no pool. Nonetheless, would be happy to recommend this hotel as the rooms rates were very reasonable for Sept. especially with the annual F1 race only a few days away.
