    Incredible Hotel

The hotel is located close to the CN Tower, the Scotia Bank Center where concerts, Raptors basketball, and Toronto Maple leaf hockey is played. The superior cleanliness and comfort continue to be incredible at this luxurious hotel! Check in was easy and the Reception desk was adequately staffed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great Place

For the price tag we were expecting something rather special but not to be. Yes the view of Lake Ontario is great and it's in easy proximity of shopping, site seeing attractions and transportation. Because the hotel has a large conference facility it seems to cater for big groups. The ferry terminal is conveniently located right in front of the hotel so it's very easy to take a ferry across to Toronto Islands - a great thing to do in the early evening, that way you get a lovely view of the Toronto skyline all lit up.

High Hopes For An Older Hotel

First off we arrived early so we wouldn't have to pay for parking twice. Valet asked for our keys and then put them on the windshield potentially letting anyone take our vehicle until they got time. We checked in at 4pm after our son's camp reunion and were set to go to the Christmas Market. Housekeeping was next door to our room and had no issue telling us that all but one room checked out so she's been super busy. Get back at 830 from the Market and we all wanted a hot shower to warm up. After 5 min in the shower it was 3/4 of the way full and I was worried that it was going to overflow. Took almost 15 min to completely drain. No one else was able to have a shower that night because I didn't want it to overflow. We didn't contact front desk because the kids were tired and just wanted to sleep after all the walking we did and I didn't want the hassle of moving rooms. In the morning when we woke up we tried to have showers but limited to very quick and get out before it overflows. As we were packing up to leave my husband lifted the sheets to make sure my son didn't forget his blanket only to find a black sock that was not ours. Makes us both think that the sheets were not changed before we got there especially after the housekeeper said that she had been very very busy. Got downstairs to check out and told the lady that I was not happy about our stay. Told her all the issues stated here and she offered us points on our account as she made sure everything was taken care of. I assumed this meant parking and thanked her. 30 min after we left I got an email of our final bill with a 50.00 charge for parking.
