The apartment is equipped with necessary amenities to bring you the homey feel and make your stay pleasant. Wireless network is available and provided free of charge throughout the apartment. Please note that we do not have a reception and do not live on site, hence we need your arrival time in advance to arrange an appointment for the key delivery! The apartment is located in Sporgasse, a street i older than Graz itself. Already in Roman times a trade route between the Murtal and the Roman province Colonia Claudia Savaria ran here. Today, Sporgasse is one of the main pedestrian and shopping streets in the city. In hardly any other street can you read the architectural history of Graz as well as in Sporgasse. At the corner of the main square is the baroque Luegg house with its mighty facade and the arcade. Opposite is an Art Nouveau building with floral decorations and medallions with women's heads, some in gold. A little further up is a baroque building, whose large portal shows a riding image of St. John of Nepomuk. Further up is the old Deutschritterordenshaus, whose courtyard is still paved today with "Murnockerln" (stones from the Mur), as it used to be. Opposite is the inconspicuous facade of a former Augustinian monastery, which is known today under the name "Stiegenkirche". At the upper end of the Sporgasse you will find one of the oldest guesthouses in Graz, the "Golden Pie", architecturally significant dating from the Renaissance period, which is unique in Graz. The apartment is surrounded by many small boutiques and restaurants which are just as popular with the locals as with tourists. Grab a breakfast at lovely Sorga bakery before spending the afternoon enjoying a traditional Melange and treat at Hofbäckerei. You can further soak in the infamous coffee house culture in traditional favorites such as the Café Waiter or Café Sacher. Numerous traditional restaurants in the area offer various cousins where you can enjoy delisious meals before topping off the evening with a delicious cocktail or Spritzer while overlooking the rooftops of Graz and the stunning Clocktower Graz on the rooftop terrace of Kastner! Ideal position of this apartment makes every corner of the city reachable via tram lines 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 13 stopping just around the corner on Hauptplatz/ Congress. Opening in March 2013, Landvilla Pia enjoys a quiet location in the rural surroundings of Attendorf, just a half-hour drive from the centre of Graz. All apartments have a mountain-view balcony, a fully equipped kitchen and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, there is a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a modern bathroom. Each apartment at Landvilla Pia is furnished according to an individual theme. On request, the owners fill the refrigerator with specialties from the region and provide bread rolls for the breakfast. The nearest restaurant is 2 km away and a supermarket can be found 4 km from Landvilla Pia. Hiking and cycling trails pass right next to the property. Within a 40-minute drive you can reach the Gaberl Ski Area. The Talersee lake and golf course are 5 km away. Tennis courts and a horse riding stable can also be found close-by.

The highlight of the apartment are two balconies, one in the living room area and one in the master bedroom. The apartment is beautifully decorated and immediately gives you that homey feeling. WiFi is available for free throughout the whole flat. Please note that we live off site and have no reception on site, hence we need to know your arrival time in advance to arrange an appointment for key delivery! The apartment is located just a short stroll, or a few pubic transportations stops away from the center of Graz. If you walk out of the apartment around the next corner you will find a Lidl, the nearest supermarket. Except for that there are 2 more supermarkets and some other shops in the near area. A gym and a sports court is right in the next street which is perfect for a shot workout while being on vacation and many many restaurants, cafes and bars are not far away either. There are multiple cafes and bakeries around the apartment, which are perfect for a nice cup of coffee and a great breakfast. We would recommend the Café Zapo, right across the street, the Konditorei Philipp, just down the street or the Café Marianne, also just a few meters away from the building. Except for that we can recommend the Restaurant Akropolis for a authentic Greek meal or the Gösser Stüberl for a cool beer and an Austrian dinner/lunch. If you prefer a quick dining there is the Waltendorfer Kebap und Pizza right around the corner. If you feel like a drink in the evening you can get that at the Tizian’s place, in the next street. In the case of you being in the inner city of Graz and getting hungry and craving an Asian meal you could go to the Mau Shi restaurant or the Sägewerk for a delicious burger. The apartment is located Am Ring. This is bigger street in Graz, just a few minutes’ walk away from the city center. The tram stop ‘Krenngasse’ is right around the corner but to get to center we would recommend the walk, as you will pass by many shops and will get to experience the city even more. The apartment is in a very nice location as it is close to the center and surrounded by supermarkets, shops and small boutiques and restaurants.
