Getting around Puerto Plata
Puerto Plata Province is well-connected by buses known as "gua-guas". The city of Puerto Plata is easy to get around on foot or by using local taxis and "motoconcho" motorcycle taxis. The province has flights at Aeropuerto Gregorio Luperon, located 18 kilometres from the city centre.
