    Good Location!

This place is like a hostel, so don't expect too much. A bit shabby, but clean. Definitely better than I expected. Friendly staff, a nice kitchen. Towels were changed everyday, sheets every few days. The location is very good, in the middle of downtown, in a busy street full of pubs and restaurants. If you want luxury and a quiet environment it's not the best option. But if you want to be in the heart of the city with low budget it's perfect. Vancouver is extremely expensive.

    Affordable Hotel

This was the most affordable. The main catch is shared bathrooms but it was never that busy where had to wait to use the shower. It's an old hotel with only 2 floors above a bar/restaurant. The location is great, right on Granville with lots of shops and restaurants. A bus can pick you up right in front and take you to waterfront or you can a walk a few blocks to the sky train station. Small room with a small pole to hang clothes but no closet. Ceiling fan keeps things cool and bed is comfy, TV too. Other downsides, when you check in they will charge you the full price right then. They have several WiFi in the hotel but ours never connected and worked so that was inconvenient. parking in back for a small price, but limited and there is no back hotel door to get to it so you have to go around to the alley to get back there again. Kitchen has all the stuff you need. Also finally, no elevator, just stairs. Staff were very helpful though. If you're on a budget and can do without the usual hotel things, this hotel is good.
