Ahrenshoop is surrounded by scenic walking trails and cycling paths that showcase the beautiful Baltic landscapes. Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park is a short drive north of the town and features dramatic clifftop trails. A staircase leads down to Darsser Weststrand Beach, where you can relax on the sand and swim in the Baltic Sea.

Built in 1951, Schifferkirche is a maritime-inspired church. Light floods into the church through the floor-to-ceiling glass façade, while the interior feels like stepping into a ship’s hull and features a wood-panelled roof and rib vaulting.
