Founded in 1932, Eindhoven Airport has evolved from a basic grass strip into a bustling international airport in North Brabant. It was captured by German forces during the Battle of the Netherlands and was taken by American paratroopers as part of Operation Market Garden before being returned to the Royal Netherlands Air Force in 1952.

While you’re waiting for your flight, take time to browse the books and magazines for sale at AKO or pick up last-minute Dutch souvenirs at Aviflora. Suitcases and travel bags are the focus of the Before Take Off store while duty-free goods can be purchased at the B&S Shop Fly.

Feeling hungry? There are plenty of places where you can grab something to eat, including Farm Food + Drinks and AH To Go. A delicious breakfast buffet is available at the Tulip Inn and you can enjoy an evening drink at the Upstairs bar overlooking the terminal.

Getting there

Eindhoven Airport is a 10-minute drive from Eindhoven and the Eindhoven Central railway station, which has train connections to destinations across the Netherlands. Public buses and taxis offer easy access to the airport from the city.
