Magog is a popular gateway city to Mont Orford, where you can carve fresh powder while skiing or snowboarding during winter. The Musee International D'Art Naif is just around the corner and showcases exceptional contemporary art by local and international artists. Head across the road to Vieux Clocher de Magog, a popular concert hall with comedy acts, live music and plays.
Want to rest your feet? Kick back in the Parc de la Pointe-Merry, a grassy expanse overlooking Lake Memphremagog. Alternatively, head to Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises to let the kids enjoy a large playground or to explore the nature trails. The park also boasts an information centre with exhibits and family programs.
Getting around Magog
Magog is well-connected to Montreal and Sherbrooke via multiple highways and long-distance Greyhound buses. You can easily walk around Magog or use the local trolley services to cover longer distances. You’ll need a hire car to reach the ski fields.
