About Murzasichle

Backed by some of Poland’s highest mountains, Murzasichle is a picturesque village on the edge of Tatra National Park. It is named after two settlements, “Mur” and “Zasichle”, which were merged to create the village in the 17th century.

Sprawling south of Murzasichle is Tatra National Park, which encompasses more than 200 square kilometres of rugged mountains, caves and waterfalls. In the summer months, you can spot Tatra chamois, lynx and bears while exploring the extensive network of hiking trails, while the winter snow cover is ideal for skiing, snowboarding and sledding.
