About Reine

Reine is a picturesque fishing village set between the Arctic Ocean and the snow-capped Lofoten mountains. It’s located on the island of Moskenesøya in the Lofoten archipelago and will dazzle you with its dramatic scenery. Red and white huts dot the shoreline and add to the postcard-perfect feel.

The Midnight Sun bathes Reine in daylight for most of the summer, while winter offers the chance to view the mesmerising Northern Lights. Hug the Moskenesøya shoreline or paddle to nearby islands like Hamnøy, Reinefjord and Sakrisøy.

The hike to Reinebringen viewpoint is challenging and rewards you with sweeping views over the surrounding islands and peaks. Other trails take you to pristine sandy beaches fringed by soaring granite mountains.
