Join the snorkelers and scuba divers beneath the wharf. Explore Tathra Maritime Museum for local history and works by regional artisans, before enjoying a contemporary Australian lunch at Wharf Locavore.

Fishing from the pier is a favourite pastime, where you’re likely to spot swimmers training for the Tathra Wharf to Waves swimming routes from the wharf to Tathra Beach. You can also go cycling or try paddling on Bega River. Take an evening break for craft beer and live entertainment at the Heritage-listed Tathra Hotel, founded in the late-1800s.
