Science North is the town’s science museum, which boasts live shows, interactive exhibits and a planetarium. After exploring the museum, head to the IMAX 3D cinema to catch a new release on the big screen.

If you’re in town in July, head to the shores of Ramsey Lake to enjoy the Northern Light Folk Festival, a budding music festival featuring local and international artists. With food trucks and craft stalls, there’s plenty of entertainment to keep you going late into the evening.

Getting around

Greater Sudbury Airport sits 20 minutes north-east of the city, and access is easy by car or bus. Once in town, the local bus system offers an array of routes throughout the city.
