About Zefat

Set high in Northern Israel, Safed is perched atop a mountain with sweeping views over the Upper Galilee. Safed has been a haven for Kabbalah spirituality since the 16th century and is also a hotspot for artists seeking intimate galleries and in-depth workshops.

Ashkenazi Ari Synagogue is another local landmark, with a fierce lion beautifully carved above the holy ark.
