Suncorp Stadium is Brisbane’s premier sporting and entertainment venue located in the Milton suburb of the city. Suncorp Stadium is easily reached via bus, train or ferry. It takes 30 minutes to walk from the amenities of South Bank and 20 minutes from North Quay. There is a train station at Milton which is a few minutes’ walk, and several bus stops surrounding Suncorp Stadium.

The area on which the stadium sits used to belong to the Aboriginal Turrbal Yuggara people and became one of the earliest European settlement areas in Brisbane. The stadium was built following public pressure, as locals wished to see more recreational facilities in the area. The 6.2 hectares’ site of Lang Park evolved into Suncorp Stadium. Today, it hosts tens of thousands of Australians and International visitors who wish to experience some of the best sporting events and concerts in the country.
