About Ang Mo Kio

Ang Mo Kio is an urbanised town with multiple shopping centres and dining hubs, as well as various subzones with their own unique food centres, gardens and leafy streets. However, you’ll also find a wealth of natural spaces, from sprawling urban parks to pristine reservoirs.

Not far from the park is the historic Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery, built in 1921. This revered Buddhist temple is the largest of its kind in Singapore and often hosts significant events, such as Vesak Day, and has an intricate Eastern architectural style.
